Picasso’s Guernica: in an art gallery or in a car showroom?

Ian Youngs from BBC News has recently reported that the last time the Picasso’s Guernica was shown in the UK, it happened in a car showroom instead of in an art gallery. What is, in your opinion, the purpose of works of art such as the Guernica? Do you think that art should be accessible to everyone?
